cool2vu expands contract with Viki, launches in the UK
cool2vu, the new Korean entertainment VOD service from SyQic, previously available only in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, announced on March 9 the expansion of its two year agreement with Viki to cover additional markets. Those include South America, Central America and Europe.
In other words, cool2vu is now available to watch in the United Kingdom! Fans can watch their favorite Korean TV dramas for free. The website is responsive, making it easy to watch across mobile, tablet and desktop, and available in seven languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Bahasa Malay and Bahasa Indonesian). A smart feature that filters all Korean TV dramas for which local subtitling is less than 95% complete has also been added.
The UK version currently focuses on Korean TV dramas and other types of TV entertainment will be added at a later date.
If you would like to give the guys at SyQic any feedback, feel free to contact them at phil@syqic.com.
Note: the cool2vu service is also now available in India and the Philippines as of March 16.
