MCM London Comic Con is around the corner, celebrating its 12th edition. The main focus of the event, as usual, will be on anime, comics, manga, video games and popular media from the UK, U.S. and Japan.

However, this year, they invited Korean-American actress Arden Cho as a guest. Why? Because she stars in the 3rd season of popular MTV series Teen Wolf – which premiered on January 6 -, and plays a character with a Japanese name, Kira Yukimura aka Kitsune, which many of you must know well already. Therefore, it makes twice as much sense for her to be here this year!

As a reminder, Arden was the host for the 2014 DramaFever Awards, and led the Q&A session with Park Shin-hye. We had presented her briefly in a previous article. However, we did not mention that she was named Miss Korea Chicago and represented South Korea in the Miss Universe Pageant in 2004. Also she was Master of Ceremonies for Miss Korea Chicago beauty pageant in 2005, the 27th Inauguration of the Korean American Association of Chicago in 2007 and co-host of JYJ’s United States Tour in 2010. Finally, she was a model for our very own Alexander McQueen and the face of Clinique for its 2010 Asian campaign, among many other works.

The Teen Wolf events will take place on Saturday and Sunday (October 25-26), so don’t miss the opportunity to check it out and meet with Arden. We know for a sure thing that she is looking forward to meet with her UK fans!

Beyond that, there is be plenty of fun booths, including some dedicated to Korean pop culture from Kuuru Pop, and maybe K-drama merchandise! So we invite you to join us and other London Korean Drama Club members at this great event. More information on the website on how to book tickets.
