Synopsis: Hailing from Cameroon, Awa works as a snow groomer operator on the ski slopes of La Thuile, the last Italian town before France. Amidst her duties, she encounters Souleymane, a young migrant in a desperate bid to cross the border. Assisting Souleymane across the mountains becomes Awa's sole means of silencing a constant, haunting guilt.
